Ed was one of the first people I met when I moved to NJ in 2010.  He went out of his way to make me feel at home, providing helpful advice, a great story, or just an attentive ear. 	Ed was an editor during his long career with Reader&#39;s Digest Publications,and his editor&#39;s instincts never left him, even many years after his retirement. &nbsp;One day last year, as I was reviewing his federal tax return with him, Ed spent more time correcting the poor grammar and syntax on the IRS Form 1040 than he did reviewing the numbers! &nbsp;</p>
<p>
